The Bold and the Beautiful

Aaahhh!! (mouth opens)

Thank you! Thank you! (mouth mumbling words of thanks although no one can hear)
*wiping tears*
*walk and wave*

Well, Miss Universe 2009 was crowned, yet again, another Miss Venezuela, 2 years in a row...These Venezuelian beauties are something. Should go to venezuela one day and see all the beautiful women there. They have won Miss Universe 6 times...and not counting Miss World, I wonder how many they have already won?
Oh well, beauty contest these days are becoming more unpredictable. I mean last time when I watched, in my mind, I used to have a few favourites, like Venezuela, India, Puerto Rico, USA. Now, we have other countries winning these title. Japan won it in 2007, Russia won it in , but was taken over by the 1st-runner-up, Panama, Canada..these new breed of beauties sure give the main players a run for the crown.
Anyway, the best part of the whole pageant is of coz, the final question. Seeing how smart these women are, answering questions given to them on the spot within 30 seconds, in front of millions...Oh boy...If it was me, I'm pretty sure I'll jus die there. There are many wonderful answers given by the contestant. I remember 2. 1 from last year's winner, Dayana Mendoza, and another is Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta. Try to answer it and see whether are you able to:

Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza

Q : Do you believe men or women have it easier in life? And why?
A : Well, actually God made us to share and have difference. But big difference between men and women, doesn't matter what kind of life they live, is that men think that the faster way to go to a point is to go straight, women know that the faster way to go to a point is to go to the curve and fix every curve.

Genius...

Let's look at Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta (well, last time there's more question and answer session. The thing bout Lara(wah, like my friend like tat, calling her Lara) is the way she answers, very calm, sophisticated, confident and poised)

Q : Right now there's a protest outside claiming that Miss Universe pageant disrespectful of women. Convinced them that they are wrong?
A : I think pageants...*took the mike from the host* (and OMG moment)...I think pageants, like the Miss Universe Pageant gives us young women a platform to foreign the fields that we want to, and forge ahead, be it entrepreneurship, be it the armforces, be it politics. It gives us a platform to voice our choices and opinions and makes us strong and independent that we are today.
Both background host...
A : I did hesitate bout the other girls but this women, I have to stand behind. When she took the mike from *some name*, she pulled in the audience with her beam
B: She knows...she knows she handled it so SO well...

Oh well, I guess the furthest Malaysia will ever go is 2nd runner up, and that is also Miss World. From what i can gather from this year's Miss Universe, these are a few of my thoughts, opinions, comments, etc :
1) What the hell happened to all the Indian Beauties? I think their forte is in Miss World, and not Universe. For Miss World, they've won 5 times.
2) I notice Miss France's, one of the top 15, her boobs kept bouncing. *nangga nanggas*
3) Malaysia will never ever stand a chance to win, unless her name is easy to pronounce. Eg. Compare pronouncing 'Lina Teoh' and 'Joannabelle Ng'? too tiring *sorry, i jus don like tat name*
4) Their evening gowns are B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!
5) I always wonder how the judges judged the swimsuit round. I mean don't they deserve some credits for walking out with skimpy outfits, with pieces of clothes covering their private areas...isn't tat a HUGE CONFIDENCE?
6) OR...do they judge based on the size of their *nangga nanggas* (in this case, Malaysia DON'T stand a chance to EVER win...no hard feelings girls)
