2012 Movie Review

Good morning. It's Thursday, 1 more month for Christmas. 40 more days to the end of 2009. Went to watch 2012 last night. It's really a MUST WATCH movie of 2009. Good story line, good CGI, great meaning to it.

It's directed by Roland Emmerich, the dude who did all the disaster movies like Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow(what's with him and all disaster movie?). It's about the prophecy stated by the ancient Mayan calendar which says that the world will come to an end on December 21st 2012 due to the planets forming a line and creating a disturbance in the earth's core. So, the main character, Jackson (John Cusack) and a few other characters like his wife, kids, this Russian tycoon, his twin, his GF and the 'bodyguard'(the OH-SO-HOT Johann Urb, which playes the character named...SASHA!! =.="), joins the race to ensure that humankind are not completely wiped out from the face of the earth.

Some other characters you'll see in this movie, which I think quite funny the way they put it is, of coz a black US president, but it's not Obama, but President Wilson. There's a glimpse of the Queen itself, Queen Elizabeth and her 2 dogs...Din get to see Oprah though..haha...
But it's really touching and quite sad to see how the world is going to end. The lady beside me started tearing and knowing me, I also started to tear. This movie really makes you appreciate life more better as you wouldn't know when your time would be up.

Chic Pop at Zouk and a day with the Girls...

Today, went out with Flora, Manda and Sherie. So feel like a cut out of Sex and the City, where 4 women in their 30s and 40s hang out in the big apple.. BUT of coz la this one there's a few twist in it la...3 women 1 man...ok ok..let me rephrase that...3 Gals 1 guy, NOT in their 30s OR 40s, but in teens and 20s... Main purpose was to send Manda back to Subang. But we decided to have dinner together. Then there was a event at Zouk, so we decided to check it out too..So this is how it all went....

We reached Zouk at about 3.40pm. Went in and there was SO SO SO SO many small stalls being set up in Zouk. Not knowing what to expect in a so called Chic Pop 'street-market'(it was inside Zouk, not outside...so not exactly 'street-market' la), so we were a bit 'lost' in deciding where to go. So we decided to go to Velvet 1st...Oh btw, it was Manda and Sherie's 1st time into Zouk..haha...

So we decided to look around. And I found the 'Justified for Men' team, which I usually buy their shirts online. Their clothings are actually quite affordable and nice to wear. I have a few nice ones from their collection as well. Finally I get to meet the team face to face. Usually chat with them online or sms. Great collection. After that we headed to Bangsar Shopping Centre to have dinner at Chilis.

Wanted to take pics of the food, but when the food arrived, we just ate it. Only realising that we wanted to take pic AFTER finishing the foods. Standard la...All in all, it was a great outing. Cant wait for our next one...which will be our annual Christmas Shopping!!...
