4 Birthdays and a Wedding..and a bad ending

Hey ya'll, been really busy lately with lots of last minute things to do. Rushing on assignments at work, church choir, rushing back home etc etc. Don't even have time to blog. So, manage to squeeze in some time, on this beautiful rainy Sunday evening..while waiting for time to pass and my mom to reach here, and also while waiting for transport to go for meeting at Manda's place.. That is IF my mom reach here soon.. Anyway, as the title says it all, Yea...celebrated 4 Birthdays and attended a Wedding..

1st Birthday...Andrea Chin Lee Ann...

Well, celebrated kinda late la(her birthday was on 27/10)..Coz we were in Summerset, she also was away in Cameron. But we (as in Mark, Shaun, Sher and me) did sang to her while in Summerset. So i owe my petsis a gift..din actually buy 1, so thought of bringing her out for a dinner on the 6/11..of coz invited Mark as well. So the 3 of us went to Milwaukee, thinking it was some young group band playing there la..MANA TAU, same old chinese band that played while we were there on Merdeka's eve celebrating Mark's bday. Thankfully only 1 man and 1 lady, which i may say..did sing quite well. That man actually sounded like Michael Buble...really..no Kidding..quite entertaining. We went there around 8 plus, ordered food, chit chatted, laughed, sang, naughty Ann decided to play wif my slippers..damn naughty now..then at around 11, we decided to order beer to drink..ok..i rephrase that..ANDREA decided to order beer/liquor to drink..and i was like..huh??u serious? So yea, we drank Heineken..til bout 12 plus, then went back..

2nd Birthday...Shawnie Soo

Well, Shawnie is my boss in PFM. So we celebrated her bday on the 28/10 (her actually date was 29/10) at Neway Karaoke in Times Square. All of LIFE team went for the karaoke session, and it was fun seeing my colleagues sing, dance...kinda brought the 'inner-child-like' character in them la...And some hidden talents were displayed..haha..Norah's 5 seconds of fame, Lawrence's belly dancing skills...It was fun la..Plus a great outing for my colleagues as they're able to let go their hair and just have fun. Nothing about work..just pure fun...

3rd Birthday...Germaine Ong

Germaine, or we usually call her, GERMS (as in kuman..hehe..) celebrated her birthday on Nov6th. But, she's in Penang..so cant actually celebrate with her right...Well, Germs, Chen, Quah and me are like outlook buddies, where we outlook each other during our working hours..kinda like chatting while working, but we're sending emails to each other la..So while we were emailing each other, Quah, Chen n me plan to deliver a flower to germs in her office..coz suddenly the gals in my company were getting flowers like everyday..like ppl kept sending flowers to them an all...so yea..got some ideas la..so we sent that flowers to her..boy was she happy. Anyway, Germs, hope you like the flower, though we're not there to celebrate your bday with you, but u know we love u..hehe...

4th Birthday...Melissa Ong...

Melissa, or we usually call her lis, celebrated her bday same day as germs...6/11. But couldn't join her for lunch coz working. But did share presents though..they bought her a dress, which i dunno wat type of dress it was, but she likes it..so yea...anyway, that also 1 story...harvinth went shoe hunting for lis, while phoebs and manda were at home. Harvinth dunno wat shoes to choose or sth like tat and was on the phone with phoebs/manda and manda was on the phone with me...so since he dunno wat shoes to choose, he took pics and send via mms to them, and they view in on the pc and gv comments..haha..the power of technology huh...damn funny...

That's the 4 bdays that pass, went back las fri, for one of my fren's wedding, which was on the 7/11. So Kavitha and me went back with Daya, damn i tell u the 2 gals can really talk..they talk throughout the entire journey...i managed to sleep half way through the journey, woke up, and they're still talking...so when we went back, we met up for minum minum session at a local kopitiam, ala old town like tat. Then the next day, was the wedding reception. Which was kinda like a reunion for my school frens..coz get to meet up wif a number of my school frens, as in form 3 frens..and had a great time hanging out with kav, daya, mawar and najib. Great laughing session.

Anyway, just wanted to blast everything out here la. Been really down this few days, even though many may not see it, but yea. When you think that you're doing something that you actually love and njoy doing it, just when you think everything is going the right way, and when you decided to share it with your family, all of a sudden, they do not support whatever is goin on with your life. Practically everything that i'm doin right now, be it a chior leader, working with PFM, working in Malaysia..is not good enough..

Just when you're about to be confirmed in the company as a permanent employee, where everyone appreciates your effort and hardwork in the company, and I actually love PFM, which I'm very excited and has ben anticipating this moment for a long time... Just when i decided to share it with my family, straight away they say...'SO WHAT?' Cant they show some support that I'm diong something that i like, doing something that i'm good at, that i'm able to support myself? Even becoming a choir leader also, they object...saying 'why do you want to be involve in chruch so much? want to be a church activist?'I cant believe they actually say that..

What the hell they expect me to do? they want me to go to Singapore to work..for wat??I do not like to work there...plus with my brother there, more reason for me not to go there..Being compared to an idiot like him, what for? Not that his life is to be proud of right? Seriously, i rather look up to someone else rather than him la k. Sorry but its the fact. Knowing what he did and all, i don't see the whole point of looking up to him. I know you all might think that he's my bro and all, but then there's a limit of asking me to be like him la ok..Actually, I just hate being compared to him. No point..

At this point of time, sometimes I think that I dont have family at all..I know ppl will always say family comes 1st and all, but if they themselves do not support own immediate family 1st like me, y should i?I get more support from friends and colleagues la ok...And this has been goin for a long time and I jus had enough of it la. whatever it is, I just wan to live happily and when it comes to a point where i don hv any1 to turn to besides my family, trust me..i rather die alone.. I don;t mind celebrating xmas alone, i dont mind celebrating my bday alone..at this point of time, i just don mind being away from my family until i actually have time to relax and forget about it la k...

Actually there's a lot of things to say bout my family..but i shall stop here la..waste of time...Anyway, thanks for being with me blog...
