What a wonderful world...: A weekend with...the LIMS...

Hey ya'll. Its been a while..i know..since the last I updated my blog.Well, mainly coz I don't have time, I'm too tired, I'm not in the mood and also..no inspiriration. Wel, tonight is different. I was bored..so yea.shall jus blog about the wonderful weekend i had with the LIM family, namely uncle andrew, aunty veronica, mark, shaun, daniel and celine.

So, was invited to spend the weekend at Summerset, Rompin. Its actually a great place for some relaxation and unwind and to just get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. However, many have not heard of Summerset before, especially my whole company, who kept on asking where is it..Well, its situated along the coast of Pahang, between Kuantan,Segamat and Muadzam Shah. Its like 'A home away from home, where you can relax and unwind' (that's what the website says). Ok la..not that homey, but still good. Just that the bed cabinet decided to..erm..how shall i put it..break when some crazy fellow went and jump on the bed and accidentally knock his foot on the bed cabinet causing it to come out from its place...Anyway, Mark, Shaun, Sher and me got into 1 room, which we consider quite lucky because it was facing the beach...wah...the scenery..But room a bit cacat. TV no remote, heater not working, air-cond a bit cuckoo-fied..other than that, its ok..

Anyway, while on the way there..a bit of drama happened la. You'll definately pass by loads of carcasses of dead animal due to the fact that there are lots of animal roaming about by the road side and also sometimes...ON THE ROAD. So you'll be able to see a dead cow(maybe a calf), loads of monitor lizards, dogs, a civet cat, some monkeys, goats..mind you..all dead yea.. So while in the car, we were like 'dei...dead goat...Eew..!!'..and mark was like 'yer..the intestine was out'...and 'Oh my i jus drove pass the monitor lizard's tail'... SO yea. While I was driving, some herd of goats were at the side of the road la...Then the silly kid(baby goat for those who dunno) jus decided to storm away from the herd and decided to cross the road la..i was screaming...i repeat...SCREAMING..guess the goat must have heard my scream and decided to stop, just in time before it met the tyres. After all the screaming i got freak out la ok..my hands were cold...sigh..then Mark and I were talking...if i were to kill the kid just now..i'll jus go for confession and say..'Father, i killed a kid'..then we laugh bout it..haha..

So once we reach there, what else...PLAY LA...volleyball, then water polo. Basically, according to the Lims, its play whole day, then eat, then continue playing then eat, then more playing, then eat, then drink, then play again....basically lots of playing and eating la..Plus, no doubt we're like the undefeatable water polo team ever...muahaha..tat was fun la...on the last day, we challenge this malay family for a water polo match, pretending we dunno how to play la..mana tau, we were everywhere, jumping to catch the ball, jumping to score, swimming everywhere trying to confuse the opponent..we were there to trash them ok..haha..well, we did have practice on Saturday and Sunday..haha..Same goes for volleyball. While everyone was resting in the room on Sunday afternoon, around 4 plus, I was up, walking towards the balcony, which is overlooking the sea and also the volleyball court. And there I saw, few ppl were playing volleyball. Apa lagi?? Wake the rest of the clan up la for a volleyball challenge. So semangat right? But mana tau, went there, they were goin to shower coz they were havin BBQ that night..*actuallytheyscaredofus*. So played a bit of volleyball, then back to water polo.

Anyway, durin the 1st night, we all hangout at 1 of the rooms, together with Mark's extended family and have drinking session. Hey, when you hang out with the Lims, there is always drinking session. haha... Plus, their extended family is damn cool. All so funny.haha...

Well, 2nd day as usual, play play play, then at night we went to this restaurant called VIVI, after that took some pics, and they found out a habit of mine, which yea..kinda annoyed them..hehe...shall spare the details. Anyway, after dinner, we went back to the hotel, then gather at the same room as previous night, then we played 'the 7th game'. The denda was who ever looses wil get powder drawn on their face. So ended up...just look at the pics la..worth cannot describe.

After playing the game, of coz we cannot forget my petsis, ANDREA CHIN's birthday right..so Mark called her up, we sang Happy birthday in parts..haha..normal la...then went back to our room, all cant sleep, decided to tell ghost stories. So practically, all 4 of us ended up sleeping on 1 bed. Haha...Next day, its like a rule for the Lims la...before goin back, must play 1 last time. So that was the time where we challenge the Malay family on a water polo match and trash them la.haha..

Well, all in all, it was a great trip. Get to spend time with frens, close frens actually...Able to relax and unwind...Once again, would like to take this opportunity to thank the Lims for inviting me to this trip. Thank you, Kam sia Kam sia...
